Back to this story, with more info now: ..."American doctors worry that North American sandflies, which carry another form of the disease, could pick up the Asian strain from returned veterans. It could then spread through the general population. Story here"...... ....."Even the dust of Kabul and Kandahar is a hazard, causing respiratory problems and skin lesions that can result in infections. Leishmaniasis, a parasitic disease spread by sandflies, is a notably nasty illness. The cutaneous form can leave disfiguring ulcers that take months to heal, and the visceral form can be fatal. Although the Canadian Forces actively try to prevent it, at least 14 soldiers have contracted cutaneous leishmaniasis. So have almost 1300 U.S. personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan. "...... thetyee.ca/News/2009/03/26/AfghanStress/www.leishmaniasis.us/Leish.htmlSo, was the actin from leishamania used to restructure "human actin"? could these be the cytophidiums or "cell snakes"? These would then involve the cytoskeleton cells for sure.

Sky! Sky! yes, yes... just glancing at your posts. I am not in a position to do any deep research, at this point all I can do is report what's happening to me physically and what actions have been taken and what the results are. I asked that the thread on 'what in the world do we personally think this disease is about?' be revived, (*sigh) so in the meantime, I will just post here on Kritzzy's random thoughts because that's what they are. I can't put 2 and 2 together, lord knows we have tried, and we end up chasing our tails around in a circle like a rabid dog... any ole who... " it is possible that the ribonucleotide if the P protein from Candida." First of all, Candida must be one of the main culprits, the reason I say that is long and detailed. I don't want to go into personal details here but yes, yes. Also, this is something 'natural' that is found in the human body that is not normally tested for, looked for, etc. In a nutshell - overabundance growth of 'normal' flora/candida, overabundance growth of cells multiplying, overabundance of skin cells multiplying in those that are showing lesions/skin conditions. That through possibly, (one of many) Vitamin D deficiency setting up the stage for a Rocky Horror Picture Show. Vit D deficiency further sets up imbalance in the Calcium/Magnesium ratios that are present in modern food/animal products. The lesions (disease?) is an out-of-control calcification process (partially?) cycled by too low Magnesium, too high Calcium intake. There are 7 kinds of 'stones' that the kidneys can produce, as with kidney stones. (I don't know what they are or their characteristics, if someone wants to look?) That in some?/all? of us, with more extreme cases show this, we are producing lesion scab/scaling material that is akin to 'crystals'. In fact we have studied crystals quite a bit without being able to finger much. What we need to be looking at is what 'stones' the body produces. How to break up these stones, etc. I am currently using a product on my skin that is a synthetic Vitamin D3, that seems to go down into the skin to dissolve what we have described as 'teeth' particulate matter that digs into the skin and is almost impossible to get out. This product is available through GP's and Dermatologists, it contains tacalcitol, call Curatoderm in salve or ointment (petroleum base). It slows down the cells multiplying process. (This information is for all the gals that were having face problems (before I had lesions) and were picking daily, etc.) Also, for a re-occurring UTI from hail, I am starting to suspect that stones might be involved, the kidneys would have to be checked next. I am drinking a stinging nettle tea, (thanks to Katinka looking these products up for me) which should help with breaking of the stone material and many other benefits, please look it up. The pharmacist mentioned that in the case of a UTI that won't go away that stones could be involved. This set off a light bulb when he said - 'the microbe incorporates itself inside the stone and you can take unlimited amounts of antibiotics without effect because the microbe incorporates itself inside the stone material as a barrier for protection'. This is my 7th? round of antibiotics for the UTI, I now have obvious candida. (Back to the dog chasing tail thing - I think the candida was there all along. I hope somebody can make some sense out of this circle I'm trying to convey?) Off the top of my head, my personal disease seems to be a mixture of candida, multiple viruses, Vit D deficiency, Cal/Mag imbalance, stone material production, over abundance of skin cell growth... (kidney problems can produce fluid in the lungs (hence re-occurring pneumonia)). Good to see that Mfromcanada is still trucking, you go girl! To our heroes and heroines, all of you >3! CANDIDA IS THE CULPRIT, KAMMY!!!!!! XOXOXOXO

"CANDIDA IS THE CULPRIT, KAMMY!!!!!! XOXOXOXO"
Well, I'm putting it high on the top of the list!! I'm getting eaten up with "psoriasis", that's all I know. I had a place come in near my v spot, omg!! (where's the terrified emoticon?) and it has spread. I am on another 10 days of antibiotics right now and the other side is starting to show the beginning of psoriasis lesions! I begged the MAN doctor for an anti-yeast to go along with the antibiotic and he said... 'no, we'll treat that after the antibiotics...'.
I'm thinking I had a candida infection all along, it somehow is setting up (the UTIs?)and a playing field for the "psoriasis" to come in behind it after the skin is weakened by the candida. You can't easily get rid of psoriasis once it sets in the skin... I am so pissed right now... (where's the pissed emoticon?)
I need to get on a protocol quick. I am seeing caprillic acid or coconut oil to kill yeast. I got the MSM and Magnesium in the mail today and coconut oil in the cabinet. HELP! The candida is eating me up!
Yes, on the sandflies too. I was not a native Floridian, I entered Florida during one of the 4 "fly seasons" that the natives speak about. Of course, I was bitten on the beach and at the house too it being so close to the water - pesky critters. Are these flies indigenous to Texas and California, near beach New Jersey? Probably.
(Just slathered myself with the coconut oil and ate some too...)

Does the candida lysosome? This may indicate that the protozoan is leishmania. The reason I say this, is because the lysosomes contact the protozoan which is on outside of cell, It forms a circle and hardens, is made of calcium, in fact CA2 and it encases the protozoan inside this shell. Norma Andrews from Yale and her lab people had questions, as to how the protozoan could stay alive. Brings to mind Dr. Fry's conclusion on this, that a biofilm forms around the protozoan. This biofilm hardens like a stone, and we have the shards. Now she goes onto describe how a "vacuole forms around the parasite and it is made of lysosome compartment. the deeper it goes into the lysosome compartment, it mutates into the cell. It has to do with membrane fusion. Now, the candida would be part of the yeast. Something called the SNARE Complex. But the protozoan could look slug like, however it seems to be comfortable inside the calcified compartment, and does not die.
She also talks about iron and the Fe2 and Fe3 business, that Carnicom mentions, the radical would be the protozoan itself. The lab wonder what cell types are effected? Lesions heal, but the parasite persists. Chau Huynh wondered how it acquired the iron to survive? he said there are 8 transitional domains. I do believe it was mentioned many years ago, on BiologyonLine, on the Fiber Thread that there were 8 stages to this Morgellons.
The Amastigote stage of this protozoan. The acid would be in the membrane proteins.
The Australian makes sense.......
And........this involves the microtubules. So, I would surmise that this involves the "cytoskeletal cells" as we mentioned a while back. These cells may involve what she calls the "molecular motors".
So, here are her videos. I am thinking this is cross between leismaniasis protozoan and trypanasoma as was mentioned in "foreign adaptive proteins".
So, the name alone, may give us a clue: The SNARE COMPLEX. The lysosomes snare the protozoan, but only gives it a home, a shell, a calcified shell, but it does not die.
She is talking about the trypanasoma here, but notice at 3:02, she shows that "yeast" is involved.
"Polymerized actin around phagosomes containing yeast particles".....
It is hard to understand the lysosomal process, but as you follow along, stay with it, you can see what she means and she then gets into the "leishmania Protozoan", and this could be what the Gulf War folks suffered from, very similar to trypanasoma, but yet is brought by sandfly, very common in Desert area. so? mmmmmmmmm makes one wonder? but, lets follow here at 20:31 she talks of "leishmania"
Leishmania acquires iron from the cell. This protozoan is very similar to the trypanasoma. I have seen these membranous forms. So, this LIT1A and LIT1B (leish iron tranporters.) This is a gene. Was this used in "homologous" or recombination work? or as a bioweapon? Kuwait comes to mind. www.youtube.com/watch?v=etRJ0ZS01JY---------------------------------------------- It appears that the lysosomes form the biofilm which holds the Leishmania protozoan, where it replicates, so when lesions look like they heal, there is replicating going on underneath the encasement. Naturally, being untrained, I don't understand the lysosomal process. So, what are the components, we're working with here, correct me if I misunderstand the video? From Sky - a possible co-mutual/mutant, or a double-teamed strain of Leishmania/trypanasoma. These live mostly inside the lysosome walls which are made of calcium, but if you find a way to dissolve the calcium wall, it doesn't kill the parasites, they become motile and move somewhere else. Prevention of lysosomal fusion can cause the parasite to exit the cell. Microtubule formation - hmmm... microtubule- and microfilament-disrupting drugs? That abundant iron and LIT1 (protein or gene?) are required to keep the parasites thriving and alive. That Nramp1 and Nramp2 transporters remove iron from lysosomes, creating an iron-poor environment is ideal for the next step --> LIT1 gene/protein is required for growth. -/- LIT1 can create a no lesion situation, however just because there are no lesions does not necessarily indicate that the parasite is dead. Ok, I'll watch more and try to get a better grasp on it.

Kammy, I swear by coconut oil now, after reading how one Morgie stopped the tooth aches and subsequent non removal of more teeth. He swished with coconut oil, and within days tooth ache gone. His other recommendation was to put garlic over the tooth or gum area as well. I did this, the excruciating tooth pain I had went away, and this Morgie person also said that the coconut can help actually heal the tooth itself. I was impressed because it actually worked, but not on arm lesion, relieved the pain, but then the critter was deeper next to bone. So, this tells me the protozoan or protomyxzoan, is actual a yeast/fungi/algae and protist or protozoan mix. so, the Euglena is the closest to this, but does not explain the egg/seed forming the filament itself. so, what I see is a plant form whether algae, fungi, or yeast or mycelia (root) rhizome being formed as part of the protozoan. I think that may be what Dr. Fry means when he says the organism itself is a proto myxo zoan. Proto, like model, myxo, mycleila, zoan, zoologia, meaning small water animal, or slug like, likes water and hibernates when no water, like the tardigrade. I do wonder about the "water flea" it has barbs. and an egg sack. The end of the critter looks like a tardigrade, and this is what I see. I cannot find any info on this other than the myzidae. The image is called Oligo Aciomyzidae. but the the psd needs to be explained, I do not remember where I got the image from. or the name, but was with the image. \\

It is not that I am smart, I am determined to find just what has been created, that doesn't belong, inside my body. I run on "ticked off" attitude. Not bitter, just "TICKED OFF". This is beyond ridiculous, this is total insanity. It is trying to find normal in this insanity, and now realize it is all backwards. It is reversed, and reverse psychology is used on the public, so they will think what is told to them, never questioning why. Oh accept and adjust, oh no, that is not in my vocabulary. So, this is fought on many fronts. Understanding the "hidden tech", knowledge, and knowing the knowledge I have is insufficient.
so, I keep opening my brain for more, at the same time digesting what I learn or find, then reexamining at a later date, then the puzzle seems to fall in place. So, it is going forward 20 feet, backing up 15, so only gaining 5 feet, so then going forward 10 feet, backing up 5 feet, still moving forward, but retracing again, so now at 10 feet, I go forward another 10 gives me 15 feet(backing up 5 each time).
But, I have to take a big enough leap to go the first 20 feet. Things are unfamiliar, but by backing up refocusing, and reexamining, one starts to see what was missed the first 20 feet. So, this backwards forwards game becomes a pattern, more facts are gathered, more things are remembered, and the brain is really given a good workout. It can be exhilarating, at the same time totally appalling. So, sometimes on certain studies I have to go back to the beginning, and start over. It depends on how we see the puzzle pieces, some fit perfectly, some are very close, but the color is wrong, and the shape just won't fit. So, if there is a puzzle, then someone made it, then tore it apart and left it for us to put together. See if you can, they say. Well, this puzzle does not have a pretty picture. It is distorted, it has no meaning, no image really, just one big experiment for us to have the experience of looking for their "hidden tech". And they could manipulate the "real tech". How would we know? We just put the preconceived puzzle, already constructed, then ripped apart for us to enjoy putting back together.
I do not call this joy, more like investigation to find out who killed the brain.
So many do not even know their brains are gone. But we here, keep exercising our noggins~! Including you, Krits. Every once in a while you have a real bonifide question that needs to be answered. Like Why Ca, Fl and Tx? A very good one. Seems we have to go back to the beginning on that one.
Lets see: Water Ocean bogs swampland sand oil drilling abiotic life water fleas diatoms algae red algae ship ballasts organisms hydrovents coral sea cucumbers sea squirts urchins thorny headed worms black flies phorid flies mayflies praying mantis space capsules with alien life on them crabs mussels clams shells abalone whales dolphins marlins squids shrimp brine cyanobacteria
20 feet out..........now back 15. first five ft. treacherous waters~!
But, Evolutionary life began in the ocean~! Okay, then~!

You forgot a few sky. I love reading how knowledgable you all are and hope my little tidbits help in some way we are all in this together. Sucks to be us though. I don't really believe you forgot these . I think you were probably on to your next subject in your head...lol. Much respect for you Sky as well as others Kritters etc. With that said here are some other things. You have Water Oil drilling Sand Marine life and FOSSILS
Others also Oregon is hit hard. Sharks and their DNA (Alzheimer's cure?) Sky check on that Please! Agriculture very big and hate to say a good supply of test subjects. ( farm workers-illegal status--both ways as unwitting test subjects and working/living. ) I grew up in that type of environment so I know the conditions. Now I know the big picture. Putting memories and reality together is like a slap in the face. What better way to keep track the familes move from workplace to workplace. Camp to camp migrating. Hit them with chemtrails or Monsanto magic pesticide voila. they are usually to scared or proud to complain and treat with homemade old remedies which help. Its not until the second generation get the benefit of seeing a Dr. ...riiiggghhhtt! then given the medical diahrreah explanation and given creams and meds, etc etc making things worse. its like tagging wildlife and keeping track. Venting..123...better now..sorry! Forests/trees natural resources above ground and sea forests. Oldest trees and other key natural resources (Borax mine) are coincidently located close to military, space, test installations, Area 51, Edwards, China lake, oh and ex-prison camps from WW II like Manzanar and German pow camp Central Valley Raw nuts, pistachios, almonds, etc. Fault lines seismic activity. That's my rant and 1 & 1/2 cents worth. Kept half a cent since I'm a dollar or 2 away from slave labor! Lol. Sky hope it helps you piece together more of puzzle we need you and others to solve or keeps us in the loop. Keep up the info output and thanks for challenging us all to keep an "active" open mind.

Sky, that article on copolymers? A four armed star shaped.... Did I read that right? Like the sores that don't heal or really don't go away just stay visible on key veins and such. There was a mention of frequency or magnets. What was that about? Kinda glanced it over. Kinda read like it was describing the sores shape and the way they seem to be water tight or repellant. Self assembling very interesting. I know it says for drug release mechanism but couldn't it attach to body (intestines) and stay reproduce after drug therapy? Ph activated same as emotion? Since anger, sadness, depression release chemicals and body acids to trigger the ph level. Thinking out loud here. Any thoughts anyone?

Fairly close, I'd say. This is Jeff Smith's next turning point project. after the GMO food campaign. One sees quite a large group of people at the Farmer's Markets lately. So, that turning point is being reached. His next campaign is the insecticides, fungicides and pesticides. All the "cides" they say natural but, they too carry natural viruses, poisons etc, dsRNA etc. So, this is where it gets tricky.
But, the journey (campaign) is slow, hopefully this one will speed up so the "ciding" can stop.
Beneficial bugs, plants etc are being destroyed by use of this "green ciding"

Sky,
I'm talking about Roundup being the determinant in whether one gets Lyme disease/Morgellons disease if they are directly exposed to it as I was. I didn't think twice back then about having it on my skin when I was trying to eliminate the weeds. I guess this is too simplistic an explanation when so much research is being done to figure out just what the hell Morgellons is. Roundup certainly does leave those who are exposed to it defenseless against diseases.

Hi Kritzy! muah! Yes, Sky, everything is in doublespeak, the ReptOrwellians are having a field day. Oh, frack me, I ate at that place in FL!! You forgot this one: If you'd just lost your home/neighborhood to a flood, you're hungry and cold, you've got little ones to feed, not sure about your money - where do you go to get some hot coffee, to gather to talk and eat? I went to a gyno, all tests negative but he gave me an external candida/steroid mix cream that has helped. Yes, under my boob; however the cream does not help this area?, they used to be north, what has happened to me? lol But, just under one boob, I CAN explain it but no one would believe it. I'll take a pic of it and post it... the rash, that is... not my boob. I'm in an outbreak period, I noticed it is worse in the spring/summer months. By 'outbreak' I mean where the particles from my ear and now head that fall on other body parts cause a lesion to form. (I now have 3 main producing areas; my two ears and head.) I now have permanent lesions on my hands, elbows, back of arm, neck, nose, forehead, buttocks, sides, v spot area, thighs, lower legs and one big toe. I believe my psoriasis lesions are all coming from the top of my body, getting on my clothes; dropping into my private areas when I go to the bathroom from my clothes. Some of the particles are so small that they can go through my clothing to gather in moist areas that can trap the particles to cause growth such as under a breast, inside thighs, buttocks areas. I have gritty particles that seem to be coming from all my pores, my ear is still exploding large quantities daily. Most of the newly formed lesions are the typical perfect round circular kind, some have a 'head' - pustular-like. Some of the new lesions have thorn-like spears that go down into the neck and when I pull them out it feels like I'm removing a tick. I have so many lesions now that I can't keep up with fighting them. Once they get past the initial forming stage and into the next "mineral coated" stage, they become nearly impossible to rid, most of mine are in this 2nd stage. I'm using a strong solution of peroxide 30% diluted with water by 1/3 to where it's approx. 10%, salt and regular 3% peroxide mix, 3% is not strong enough to stop the lesions when they first start, adding the salt gives a more powerful punch. It's best to use a cotton pad, keep it wet with the solution and tape it to the skin for a period of a few hours, this needs to be done several days in a row as it can take days to stop a lesion from forming. Be careful with the 30% peroxide as it can burn the skin if you do not dilute it enough.

LOLOL Hey Kamster!!!! MUAH back atcha big time!
I had a seriously horrific 'area' on my left side of chin last year that every time I put peroxide on it, the black Morgs specs (fibers under the scope) would surface. It would take a few times and I'd wait patiently and lo and behold those suckers always freaking appeard. But nothing I used made a difference. Reluctantly and because that area was just peeling away daily since faux skin formed each time I peeled anything away, I went to a derm. She gave me an antibiotic cream and I posted it a while back. I think it might have been MRSA but what the hell do I know, right? I think they have the inside info and there is a need for a COMBO to do the deal. Of course they won't say, well your Morgellons fibers are definitely there and in order for us to get rid of them, we have to incorporate a tbs of this and a tsp of that into the mix you will never know about in your lifetime because if you found out what we know, you'd freaking sue us (although you couldn't win).
I'm a tellin ya Kam. If it's under the boob, it's candida. Any place moisture can't escape.... I'm sure Candida is male and just loves it under boobs. So it should be called, "Candid-O" instead LOL

Hey Krittster, Oh yeah, I forgot my chin. It's been there for a long time, it's a place where I had some 'mystery' stitches, it got cut and needed some. I say 'mystery' stitches because I was at a university hospital and who knows what 'stitching material' (polymerized goat skin) experiment they came up with to sew me back together with 30 years ago. From reading some of the patents, ain't a'bit a'tellin' what they used? The peroxide has to have the salt mixed with it, IMO, to work well enough, the little astards hate salt.

No stitches or anything. but doc holiday gave me a prescrip that cleared it up pronto which actually freaked me out when I was told that the culture showed up nothing. Katinka is sick with a throat infection right now, taking antibiotics, she says 'hi' back. Her sore throat started when a farmer nearby thrashed the grass and the pollen came in. There are no air conditioners in most homes nor businesses here, so leaving the windows cracked is a necessity in the summertime. We have pollen filters on the screens but even that...

I just got the gyno lab report in the mail. In the course of all those antibiotics since December, I took Itraconozol and Fluconizol(sp)for systemic/v spotl yeast. While taking those antifungals, the elbow, ears, under the breast, etc. did not change for the better.
This lab report says negative for 'pilze' - candida/yeast. The ear and elbow biopsies also said negative for pilze/fungus.

Something else to test for: I was just checked by the gynecologist for HPV, which was negative. I am wondering how extensive the gynecologist's HPV test is? (There only used to be a few HPV varities - now I am seeing like #36...) Katinka found this: www.nature.com/jid/journal/v110/n4/full/5600022a.html"HPV DNA in 91.7% of 48 psoriatic skin samples and 35.5% of 31 atopic dermatitis specimens. Eleven EV HPV genotypes, most frequently HPV5 and HPV36, and a putative novel genotype (PsoX1) were identified in psoriasis."

Here's some older microscopic photos of the 'stuff' coming from my ear, Morgie or not?: One of my favorites below... wtfrack? We've all heard the expression - 'with every fiber of my being'. I suppose that if we took a human body/skin down to our microscopic levels - we'd be a conglomeration of fibers somehow? If you look at some vegetables, for instance, like a green bean or piece of celery - you can see the fiber matrix that makes it what it is. That somehow, through the modern manipulation of fiber materials that we constantly come into contact with to possibly make better products, a new improved version, etc. - some of us, somehow, got an overdose of certain fibers?

KAM,
I've just started a fast for a few days to clean out my gut to try to get rid of my Candidiasis. Unfortunately I am also going to stop drinking even organic wine. :-( That won't be easy but gotta do what ya gotta do. It's summer and it's tough not to have drinks with friends, but even gluten-free beer isn't good (and I mix it with Pellegrino and lemon).
So I'm doing a fall cleaning.
So a drink I am making in the morning is purified water, fresh lemon, garlic, ginger juice and a droplet of tea tree oil. This will destroy whatever suckers lurk in my gut.
I've been doing this for a week now (before fast) but if I eat food, it isn't as effective because you have to colon cleanse to remove anything so that this stuff isn't blocking the intestines from using it.
Also a probiotic at the same time.
Again, I'm not a nutritionist, although I took all the courses (lame as they were) in college but most importantly I read so much literature written by research scientists and researching MD's that I am now forming my own beliefs based on their info as being true.
Also want to mention importance of nutrients and minerals being in balance. It's SO common that people are magnesium deficient and whatever critters are in your gut also eat lots of the Vit B 6, 12 and B complex family so we are deficient in that as well. These are the basic things that have stood out in my mind.

Wow, so much information here. We all have our theories on how our disease operates and ours are better than most of the doctors. On the doctor issue...
Katinka does not go to the doctor unless she's very sick, she tried for 2 weeks to get it to go away. The pain from it went down the front of her chest, down to the back, intense pain where she was using a heating pad. Then looked in her throat with a flashlight and there was a large white 'thing' on her tonsil and the entire back of her throat was white. Katinka thinks you are sweet for trying to look out for her though.
