It has been suggested that we reconsider a term many of us have been using; myself included.
Should the lesions of Morgellons be better described as eruptions?

poco...nice to see you in the neighborhood!!
I think the areas begin as eruptions, however, they evolve into lesions recognized by the "erosion" of the skin around the area..almost like a crater. The pseudoscab that forms over it, is raised until the area completely heals and another one shows up somewhere else.
the ssbug video stated "calcification and erosion"
I have both. Calcified hardened areas around my fingernails/toesnails as well as the lesions/erosion of the skin on my face.
I think they are definitely lesions and oozing lesions/crusted lesions at times.

Twice I've heard of "the hexagons" having been exzuded from ones epidermis. Perhaps that could be termed an eruption. It's not clear if a lesion develops at a later time.
Your explaination clearly describes a lesion.
